School Angel has two principal charitable aims relating to schools, these are firstly to advance the education of children and secondly to advance the physical well being of children.
Every year the charity raises thousands of pounds enabling our partner schools to invest in thier facilities in a multitude of ways so that pupils benefit and make the most of school.
Our mission :
'Help every UK school child achieve their potential during the most formative years of their lives'.
We use all the profit raised from the income generated through the School Angel website to purchase items and services for schools which fit within our charitable aims. We are particularly keen to ensure that all Primary aged school children have the opportunity to learn to swim which is a key curriculum aim, but also one which many schools struggle to fund sufficiently. We encourage all schools who register with School Angel to let us know what they are aiming to fund early on so that we can work with them in achieving their wishes.
It may help here to illustrate what we can and cannot help schools to fund.
What School Angel will fund:
This list is merely intended as a broad guide for the types of requests for help School Angel can be used for, it is not exhaustive and we are always open to suggestions for providing other items which fit within the charity's stated aims.
